Favorite visual artistDepends largely on the format. In comics, I love the art of Alex Ross and AH! In manga, I have been greatly influenced by the work of Masamune Shirow, Akira Toriyama, and Takeshi Obata. In classical, I have always loved and admired the works of da Vinci.Favorite moviesThis list is quite possibly endless, so to keep it brief, I'll list the films which have most influenced me. The Dark Knight and Inception, The Matrix, Star Wars, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Jurassic Park, Peter Jackson's King Kong, and Ghost in the Shell.Favorite TV showsOther than HBO shows, there are few television shows I care to watch. I'm fond of intelligent comedy, so Real Timer with Bill Maher and other politically incorrect shows like it.True Blood and Entourage pretty much round it up for me.Favorite bands / musical artistsLinkin Park (band) and Tiësto (musician)Favorite booksAnything by Robert Greene or Neil Strauss. J. R. R. Tolkien and Stephen King are also common names within my library as are Neil Gaiman and many other past and contemporary authors in the genre of fiction and philosophy.Favorite writersCarl Sagan, who I did not mention above but whose works and contributions to modern science and literature have been greatly [albeit tragically] underrated!Favorite gamesCastlevania: Symphony of the Night, Resident Evil 2, The King of Fighters '98 and 2002, Tekken 5, Halo: Combat Evolved and 3, Gran Turismo 3, and a few others have not only become favorites but also games which have also influenced myself and my works.Favorite gaming platformSuper Nintendo, PlayStation, Dreamcast, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.Tools of the TradeFaber-Castell, Sharpie, Prismacolor and StaedtlerOther InterestsEverything within the realm of life and reality, and of death and all that goes beyond the grave for "the unexamined life is not worth living."
